Hi there! I’m Angela. Chartered Professional Accountant, mother of four and future Holistic Nutritionist. I created GUIDED WELLNESS as an outlet for me to share my passion for natural nutrition. Here you’ll find healthy recipes that are delicious and easy to prepare along with wellness practices, meal prep strategies and more.
My goal is help inspire, support, and guide other busy professionals like me, achieve optimal health & wellbeing through holistic nutrition.
I understand first-hand how hectic life can get as a busy executive, juggling multiple roles and want to assure you that it is possible to maintain a healthy lifestyle on top of life’s demands. I am a firm believer that the magic is in your daily habits! It’s the small commitments you stick to each and everyday that eventually become permanent changes.
Your life is a reflection of your daily habits. This is good news! It means that if you change your habits you can change your life!
My personal journey to wellness started over 15 years ago together with my husband by my side and we haven’t looked back since. It started with us learning ‘the truth’ behind most of the items that line the grocery store shelves and the harm some products/ingredients can have on your physical as well as metal well-being. We began shifting our focus from the nutritional tables, persuasive marketing, and the latest nutrition fads – to focusing on the list of INGREDEINTS. Not only with the food we were consuming but also the beauty and household products we were buying. We quickly realized that there was almost nothing clean and natural about much of the food we were eating and the products we were using and basically had to start from scratch looking for heathier, natural alternatives and going back to the basics.
It was very overwhelming for us in the beginning and even harder to explain our choices to our family and friends. We felt isolated at times as we began a different path than those around us. But after a few weeks it became easier and I started to feel a sense of accomplishment from sticking to it, being an individual and no longer a follower.

There will never be a perfect time. There comes a point when you have to stop the excuses and just START.
It will be hard at first but then it will get easier.
